Snug Harbor
Snug Harbor is a funk-soul-fusion septet, tucked away in the corner of the Northwest, in the city of Bellingham, WA. Their ages range from 21-36, but their passion for music is exercised and recognized at every live performance. This amalgamation consists of a diverse array of members ranging from Japan, New York and Maine, to North Dakota and Washington.
Fans of Snug Harbor can expect to see and hear contemporary music in relation to soul, funk, reggae and jazz infusions. Snug Harbor released their debut album, “Sounds From the York”, September 22, 2009. It was recorded live in-studio and engineered by Chris Vita. Keep your eyes out for Snug Harbor, this up-and-coming Northwest funk band will be headed to a town near you! There are plans for recording their debut full-length this next year.
Snug Harbor is a community of people who work hard to understand the importance of progression and integrity in the music community. Live shows are high energy and upbeat. This is raw funk music.
Snug Harbor has plans for a full-length record and an upcoming tour within the next year. They are excited to continue working hard, as each performance has
allowed them to interact with fans on a completely intimate level.
Playing live shows is a passion and joy for all members in Snug Harbor.
Will Glazier, trumpeter/vocals said, “We play a lot in our hometown of
Bellingham, WA, where our community of friends and family come in
masses to support our music. I cannot express the joy and influence
these people directly have on the music we make. Being able to
experience their support and love, allows us to keep making our own
style of grooves.”
Snug
