So Adult – Split 7″

Finally, we get some new music from So Adult, though far too little in this reviewers estimation. The two songs, their half of a split 7″ with Deep Pockets features one original, Stay Up, and a cover of Superchunk’s From the Cover. Unlike their past recording that sounded more akin to The Replacements, the band has developed their own sound, which fits right in the pocket with any good indie ROCK. The cover of Superchuck is no accident, with the band being a big influence on So Adult, but the highlight is obviously the original- nothing fancy, but damn hooky and a lot of fun to listen too.
But, regrettably, it’s only one song. Where’s the new album, So Adult? Your fans want to know! If this single is any indication, it’s gonna be good!
