Panda Panda Panda: Panda Panda Panda
Panda Panda Panda recently put out an album, though finding the name of this album or any titles to the songs that it is composed of may be a challenge, but it does exist and it is definitely rock and roll.
Bill Lohse plays guitar and yells, Addison Franks smashes on the drums and Colleen Ames plays bass and also yells. What more could someone ask for, right? The vocal melodies are catchy and their sound is mildly temperamental with an air of maturity.
Songs cover topics such as being poor, the state of Wisconsin, guns, dying, global climate change, evil curses, hopelessness, heartbreak and human failure. Don’t let this deter you – it’s not as depressing as it sounds. Nor is it uplifting, but definitely not depressing.
More of an album for someone who woke up, stubbed their toe, realized they forgot their card at the bar the night before, has no cigarettes, needs to shower, bought a slice of pizza that dropped on the ground, found a parking ticket wedged between their windshield wiper and their windshield and just needs to decompress.
